L'Art de LIRE - Level 1

L'Art de LIRE combines beginning conversational French with an introduction to French phonics, enabling children to read simple stories in French from the first lesson. Includes verb conjugations, grammar, and conversational French.

  • Each 80 page Student Workbook features a French-English glossary, easy to understand explanations of new grammar concepts, and exercises. 8 1/2 x 11 pages. Additional workbooks can be ordered separately.
  • The CD walks the student through the workbook, giving opportunity to hear and repeat all the vocabulary and sentences.
  • Unit Tests are included with workbook.
  • Flashcards can be hole-punched and be strung on a metal ring.
  • The Teacher Workbook is a copy of the student workbook with answers filled in.

Norma Allen
Founder of Nallenart and author of L'Art de lire, a French as a Second Language program for homeschooling and classroom instruction. In addition to homeschooling her three children, Norma taught French in the classroom, and online. She has offered seminars to homeschoolers and classroom teachers. Since 1991, Norma has taught guitar at Still River Studio.

Her abiding passion, however, has been learning about how God has reached out to relate to us, his creation.
